Botanical Garden...

A flower show? The wild rain forest of Borneo? The Pavilion Gardens in Buxton? Stapeley Water Gardens! (Been there will not go again!) Nope this is our front garden. I have no idea what we are looking at? All I know is it is (they plants flowers leaf like stuff) half pretty and it is growing in my garden! We have always opted for the natural unkempt approach when considering the design of our front garden and now we are beginning to see the fruits of our labour.

I think some of the growing like things resemble Snow Drops or Galanthus nivalis as they are better known in horticultural circles. In the past I have been known to travel many an English county (under duress I hasten to add) to search for and witness the growth of such pretty things. To know that such a beauty of Spring grows in my front garden is comforting and less of an impact on the environment.

I will sleep better tonight.
